Fellowship Policy

• Applications are invited for Indian Academy of Science and Technology Society Fellowship (FIASc) available for applicants from all parts of India.This a fellowship for individuals only and does not fund enrollment for degree or non degree study at academic institutions,including dissertation resesrch etc.

Eligibility:

• Apllicants shuold posses a deep understanding of their chosen subject and a track record of peofessional accomplishment.
• There are no age restrictions.
• At least one letter of recommendation.
• Condidate must be life member of society.

Apllication Process:

• Application are required to submit a one or two page,single spaced letter of inquiry that outlines the topic of the project,proposed work product,and relevance to the statements above.A curriculum Vita (CV) should accompany the letter of inquiry.

Selection Process:

• An interdisciplinary selection commettee will review application in consolation with the potential host unit(s) of the candidate.Faculty reviewers will evaluate condidates based on:
• 1-Innovative and focused research proposal,teaching statement.
• 2-Inter disciplinary strengths of applicants work.
• 3-Ability of the applicant to contribute to diversity,equity and inclusion efforts in hiegher education through their research teaching service and lived expresses.

Fields of Fellowship:

• Apllication are invited from suitably qualified,scientist,faculty,research scholar and students in any field of the life sciences,engineering technology health and management.

Strongly Desirable Subfields:

• Biological Sciences, Health and Medical,Biotechnology,Electrical Engineering,Chemical Engineering,Civil Engineering, Ecology,Evolution,Molecular Biology,and Mathematics.

Desirable Subfields:

• Agriculture,Earth & Environment,Medicine,Paramedical, Pharmaceutical Science,Forestry,Fisheries & Human Walfare.
